The Dressiest Girl in the Whole USA
Observations on my first day of school this semester:
- I am the only girl in Texas who doesn’t own a pair of shorts.
- There are, so far, only three decent-looking dudes in this whole class that aren’t conspicuously fratty or young-looking. I think there may be four, tops, between everyone this morning. Which is good because I’ll have very little to stare at while I’m (ostensibly) taking notes and (really) drawing pictures of ballerinas.
- Cuban history teacher wearing a guyabera and playing Tito Puente before class= Love.
- Two teachers having the same last name= boo. But one of them has one of my favorite names so I’ll just call him that in my head.
- Business school atrium: don’t believe the hype.
- Teachers who assign readings from their own books: amazingly arrogant.
- Friends in my History of Science class!
- New bike= Roscoe. RIP Roxanne.
- Evanator got a jooooooooooooob!!!!
The main thing this semester will definitely be attendance/not sleeping, these mornings are going to be nuts. But I can do it, I think. Gah, college. Does this ever end?

Sometimes they do free food in the Business School Atrium! Those were the days when I wished I was a Business Major…
