Not so great
So.
I get to see The Freshman tonight for dinner- he’s got this last-minute project due Thursday that keeps him from being mine for longer for the moment. Thursday’s another story entirely. But this, our dinner together, our friend Tony in tow, will be the highlight of my day. My incredibly shitty day.
I stepped on some toes with one of my Thanksgiving entries, and I’m sorry that it hurt your feelings. I’m sorry I hate my hometown. I’m sorry I’m easily bored. I’m sorry we don’t understand each other at all. I’m sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you.
But I’m ending this here now before I get really angry and say something I regret. It should be said that I regret NOTHING that I actually put out here.
Be satisfied.

a nitty witter or perhaps just a nit wit? The world may never know.
And fear not, I think everyone feels pretty much the same way about their hometown. Especially if they took great effort to leave it. You are here for a reason.

we have great things ahead of us, little lady. things that exist outside of our hometowns and probably outside our state.
though you loathe your hometown, you love the people there, and that’s what’s important.
