Stuffed and Nonsensical

I would like you to know that though my knee still stings from a week ago and my back hurts and I feel fluish, I am packing away the dayquil and fending off the fatigue and damn it, I am so happy. I’ve helped 2 people so far while TA’ing for the day and it was wonderful, and though I know it won’t last, that the happy feeling I get, the accomplishment, may fade, I wanted to remeber the first time, how smart I felt, how capable, how in control.

I’m parked at Posse, I can’t wait until I get internet in my place and I can camp out on the couch or something, and only be social when I feel like it…right now I just want to go home and sleep before my weekly movie ritual with Halie. But nooo. I have office hours, which basically means I have to be online and available for questions from 4-5 today and 7-11 tomorrow. Rinse and repeat next week. Oh well. How cool is my job, though? It’s ridiculous. So right now I’m parked at Posse and tomorrow it’s Waterloo and JP’s.

Sometimes I worry that Justin Timberlake will be the Al Green of my children’s generation. If I ever hear my daughter tell someone “nothing can happen to you that Justin Timbrlake doesn’t sing about”, I WILL have a midlife crisis.

54 minutes of office hours, ho.

Now 34 minutes, Jonathan’s distracting me.

So okay, I have been kicking ass on my bike lately. I WILL, I WILL get to where I can totally bike all the way uphill from san jacinto, up 21st street past dobie and the UTC and stuff. It’s the first part that sucks, it’s real steep (same thing with 27th street) but then after the steep part it’s much better. Still not easy, no. But I can already feel a difference in my legs and butt- watching them turn to jello with inactivity over the summer was INCREDIBLY frustrating given the amount of personal punishment I put into being any good with this two-wheeled torture device anyhow…speaking of Roxanne, where did I lock her up, I wonder? Oh, wait. I remember now.

Eight minutes, and addicted to Viceland. DANGIT, Sari. DANGIT.

Out, kids.
