So I hung out with Leigh all day today. It was beautiful, I was so happy. I haven’t seen her in months- she’s dating a brand new boy and we caught up everything that we didn’t already know through the grapevine, and I was so happy. She brings out the best in me. That’s why she’d my maid of honor, eventually. My right-hand (wo)man.
So I just realized semiformal’s a week from today. That means I have to:
get a dress
find a date
get some shoes
make sure my service hours and stuff are okay
pay the rest of my dues
Gah! How did I get into this mess!!? I DON’T HAVE A DRESS!!!! OR A DATE?! Holy crap, maybe I just shouldn’t go… we’ll see what happens.
It’s been a good visit, but I’ll be glad to go home tomorrow. Oy. Back in the ATX, baby!
