Personality Tests are Weird

Alright, so my friend sent me a Tibetan Personality Test straight from the Dalai Lama in my email. Whoop de doo, but I was bored so I took it, and it was odd. My personality in 4 easy questions? Alright, here goes.

“Make a wish and DO NOT CHEAT!
(1) Put the following 5 animals in the order of your preference: Cow, Tiger, Sheep, Horse, Pig.”

And I said sheep, cow, tiger, horse, pig. Apparently this indicated what was most important in my life. It ended up being love, then career, then pride, family and money….which is sad, but true. I don’t devote enough of myself to my family…but maybe that’s a product of distance.

“(2) Write one word that describes each one of the
following: Dog, Cat, Rat, Coffee, Sea.”

Your description of dog implies your own personality, and I said “dirty”. Heh heh heh…

Your description of cat implies the personality of your partner and I said “pretty”. That makes no sense.

Your description of rat implies the personality of your enemies and I said “mean”, which makes sense.

Your description of coffee is how you interpret sex, and I said “strong”. What if someone had said “decaf”? What does that mean?!

Your description of the sea implies your own life and I said “beautiful”, which is appropriate.

(3) Think of someone, who also knows you and is important to you, that you can relate them to the following colors. Do not repeat your answer twice. Name just one person for each color:

Yellow: Someone you will never forget- I said Sara R.
Orange: Someone you consider your true friend- I said Field
Red: Someone that you really love- I said Kevin
White: Your twin soul-I said Jeff
Green: Someone that you will remember for the rest of your life- I said Auston.

Now, that question’s answers are way, WAY off. Sure I consider Field a true friend and I do love Kevin (who doesn’t?) but I really don’t think Jeff’s my twin soul and isn’t “never forget” and “always remember” the same thing? And I could have thought of far more appropriate answers for all of those. Whack question.

And then the 4th question was my favorite number (8) and my lucky day (Thursday) which just meant that I had to send the quiz to 8 people by Thursday. What does that say about my personality? Psh.

I reject the Tibetan Personality Test.
