Flashback Friday Five
Since they won’t be posting a new one this weekend, I have taken the Friday Five from Feb. 28, 2003.
1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)? I love magazines, newspapers and fiction.
2. What is your favorite novel? Memoirs of a Geisha, by Arthur Golden
3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
My favorite poem is “A Boat Beneath A Sunny Sky”, by Lewis Carroll. I’ve posted it before.
4. What is one thing you’ve always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read? I wish I read my bible more often.
5. What are you currently reading?
I’m going to pick up a copy of “Under The Banner of Heaven” by Jon Krakauer this weekend, I think. Other than that, I’ve been reading some really well-written emails lately.
Moving right along…
Had a big day today, and now everything is over. No more papers for awhile, no more tests. It’s wonderful.
I would just like to re-iterate from a previous post that beginning to care about someone is really difficult. Especially when it feels like time is not on your side… Matt was going to ask me out this weekend, but after a not-so-good meeting with his advisor today he has a ton of work to do to so he doesn’t think there’s time. Completely understandable. I’m super-bummed, of course, but I have a busy weekend ahead myself and might have had to turn him down. It’s probably better that we wait for a few more days.
A few long, loooong days.
Later.
