Prayer Journal

Bill wants us to start keeping a prayer journal.
“Go buy a cool pen, and a cool journal, and try to write 3 pages a day”, he says, handing us an outline he whipped up, clever title and all.
I’ve been doing this the past 2 days. I like it. I never really thought it would eventually become difficult for me to be able to journal with a pen and paper, but I did find it a little challenging. When I write I tend to second-guess myself so I like that I can backspace. My first entry in the PJ is filled with scratchouts. I know nobody will ever read my journal, hopefully, but it still bothers me.
There’s a part in the outline where we’re supposed to freewrite or doodle, and the first time I freewrote I frightened myself with the intensity of my own feelings. I know I’m never without a passel of thoughts zooming through my head, but to see them on paper is a slightly jarring experience. However, I would strongly encourage anyone interested to try prayer journaling. I believe it will prove highly beneficial.

BOOMER TOMORROW!
BOOMER TOMORROW!
WHEEEEEE!
BOOMER TOMORROW!

Having just spent the past few minutes with Romine driving me home, I have come to the conclusion that there is something inherent about her that causes me to act like a complete and total idiot. But I love it, so she gets to stay.

Later, homeslices.
